STUDY SUPPORT CENTRE

Aurora College offers free Homework Classes twice a week for our Year 7 and 8 students.  Attending these sessions is a great way to keep your children engaged in home learning activities whilst avoiding the stress of fitting Homework into busy home lives.

Afternoon tea is supplied. Students have access to Chromebooks, can work with friends, and have two teachers who are here to help them. We are able to drop your child home (within our school zone) if necessary.

Study Support Centre runs from 3-5pm on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons during term times. Students can attend either one or both sessions and are able to leave at any time, with parental permission.

Children who need a ride home are dropped off between 5 and 6pm. Students who are picked up, or who walk or bike home, are dismissed at 5pm, unless an earlier time has been arranged.

Anyone interested in attending Homework classes can talk to their teacher or pick up a permission slip from the school library.
